Henya the Genius seems to be keen on streaming again as VShojo announces that her return is nigh.
Henya is a streamer from VShojo who usually streams a variety of games and also spends quite a lot of time talking to her audience. She streams on Twitch and is currently at over 350,000 followers. She’s well beloved by her chat who are waiting for her return.
So, when is Henya coming back?
Henya the Genius will return on October 12 at 5 pm PT.
According to a Twitter post made by VShojo, Henya the Genius is returning to streaming on October 12. Henya has also acknowledged the post by retweeting it and making her own post announcing her return to streaming. Her fellow VShojo streamers are also welcoming her back, with Ironmouse being one of the first ones to do so.
Henya started her hiatus on August 27, 2024, due to health reasons. According to an announcement she posted on her official account, she’s taking a hiatus due to the lingering effects of COVID and pneumonia. Because of this, she couldn’t focus on streaming as it would only worsen her condition. As such, she went on a hiatus to take care of her health.
Leading up to her hiatus, she was already missing some of her streams. She took to Twitter to voice out her frustrations regarding her missed streams. She explained that just this year, she had surgery and the two aforementioned health difficulties. This tweet was received warmly by her VShojo workmates asking her to take care of herself as well as her audience who echoed the same sentiments.
In another tweet, Henya said that she had been preparing for her birthday before her hiatus announcement, but she was going to miss it due to the hiatus. On September 13, she posted a simple picture of herself holding a birthday cake with a pretty dead face, presumably from the sickness she’s having.
Henya debuted on VShojo in 2023 and has amassed a massive following. She has over 225,000 subscribers on YouTube, which speaks to the success she’s made for herself.
