While most vtubers tend to stay in the dark, Vshojo’s very own kson has never been afraid to reveal her face to fans.
kson has been a dominating vtuber for quite some time now. She started her journey in 2016 debuting as an independent vtuber and joined VShojo in 2022. She has amassed more than a million subscribers on her YouTube channel and more than 300,000 on Twitch. She regularly streams on these channels and also uploads other content such as vlogs on her YouTube channel. She also regularly collaborates with other content creators such as the Trash Taste Podcast and Demon Dice. With success reaching these heights, people have been looking for her real identity.
Luckily for her fans, she doesn’t really hide it all that much.
Vtuber kson has done an official face reveal after joining Vshojo.
Even before kson became a vtuber, she was already streaming and doing content on her YouTube and Bilibili channels. These streams mostly show her playing games she personally enjoys. But perhaps the most surprising thing about this is that she also regularly streams without using her vtuber avatar. An example of this is her announcement in regards to joining Vshojo. Right after this announcement, she burst onto the stage saying her popular catchphrase. This was met with loud applause from the audience members.
Most, if not all, vtubers appear in their vtuber avatar even during meet-up events at conventions. Usually, these meet-ups will be comprised of just a person and a screen that shows the vtuber. Even during a collaboration between Hololive vtuber Mori Calliope and the Trash Taste Podcast, Mori appeared as a vtuber. Despite performing several face reveals, kson seems to still prefer using her avatar during vtuber-related activities.
Aside from that, kson also regularly posts pictures of herself on Twitter. She also uploads videos and vlogs on her YouTube channel that completely show her face. This might be due to the fact that even before she started taking vtubing seriously, she was a normal YouTuber who showed her face on the screen. While this isn’t normally the case, other vtubers like Bao the Whale have been posting more of their faces online and it seems that their fans like it.
