Cheapest Blue Gem CS2: A Beginner’s Guide and Best Tips for CS:GO

blue-gem-16_9

To the skin lovers, it is, of course, integrated into our heads that we will never be able to own a CSGO blue gem skin. Well, that is where you’re wrong.

Now, to those who think you’re going to get any blue gem for less than $100, unfortunately, you are horribly wrong!

Blue gems in CSGO are elite tier items if you want an elite tier item. You’re gonna have to pay at least something!

But, your CSGO inventory will look fantastic.

Just between you and me, not many people realize how cheap you can get some blue gems in CSGO; therefore, they will think you’re a God amongst men. There are affordable options available, making it possible to find blue gem skins at various price points to suit different budgets.

1. Five-Seven Case Hardened – BUFF163: $100~

Now, the Five-Seven case hardened blue gem is an incredibly underrated skin. The blue perfectly complements the CT-sided blue and black-clothed player models. This gives off a sleek and clean look that not many other Blue Gems can offer.

The pattern you can see in this image here is the “363” pattern in minimal-wear condition, bought by yours truly off buff for $90, which is an absolute steal. This specific pattern is one of the notable seed patterns that players seek for its unique and aesthetically pleasing look.

In terms of investments, blue gems aren’t necessarily a good “investment” as the prices don’t typically shift massively.

They act more similar to liquid items, but to label them liquid just wouldn’t be true.

Just to add – the lower the float, the cheaper it’ll get. Don’t forget to barter too, lads.

2. AK-47 Case Hardened – Pattern 898 – BUFF163: $269.31

This AK-47 is a tier 3 pattern AK-47 Blue gem, and there are several patterns similar to the 898 pattern, varying between $500 and $269.

Now, this AK is beautiful. The significance of the ‘play side’ in determining the value and appeal of the AK-47 Case Hardened skin cannot be overstated.

I mean, words cannot explain the level of uniqueness pattern 898 obtains. For $269, that’s pretty good. Right?

If you want to buy one, I advise using BUFF163 instead of any other website.

3. Navaja Case Hardened – Pattern 494 – BUFF163: $500~

The Navaja knife, as we know, not got the best stereotypes. But, this knife is the most unspoken gem in CSGO existence. For those looking for a high-tier blue gem knife, the Navaja Case Hardened skin is a cheaper option. To own a blue gem KNIFE, not shabby tier 4 ak-47, AN ACTUAL TIER 1 KNIFE, is ridiculous. This knife will blow minds and raise a lot of eyebrows. That is a promise.

If anyone, and I mean anyone, gives you a hard time about owning this knife, just ask the simple question, “Where’s you’re blue gem skin,” and all your problems shall disappear before your very eyes.

Honorable mention: Bowie knife Case Hardened – Pattern 794 – BUFF163: $400

Now, this knife is much more desirable; obviously, people have mixed opinions, but overall, it’s a respectable knife. Compared to the Butterfly Knife, which is highly coveted and can reach up to 20k USD for rare patterns, the Bowie knife holds its own in terms of market value and desirability.

The knife again is still a high-tier Blue Gem skin, but the pattern is significantly cheaper than many other Bowie knife blue gem patterns.

This is because the blade is so big that the patterns blue doesn’t cover the entirety of the blade. Nevertheless, my dear friends, this is still a blue gem.

Why aren’t there more cheap Blue Gem skins?

There aren’t many cheap Blue Gem skins because this type of skin is among the rarest in the game. They are the result of an extreme orientation towards blue, between blue and yellow grading. So extreme that there are only very few such skins on the marketplace, much less available for sale.

One notable example is the Karambit case hardened, which is highly sought after for its distinct blue patterns, especially the Blue Gem variant, making it one of the rarest and most expensive skins. This scarcity means that sellers rarely have any reason to sell their Blue Gem skins for cheap. They are often among the most expensive in the game. And with the introduction of Counter-Strike 2, that hasn’t changed at all. Blue Gem skins in CS2 remain very expensive for the same reason they were previously.

The Karambit knife boasts a diverse array skins, ranging from basic designs like Safari Mesh to more intricate ones such as Lore or Freehand. However, the Karambit Case Hardened skin is in a league of its own. Its unique appeal stems from its unpredictable nature. With 1,000 distinct seed patterns, the Case Hardened finish offers incredible variety. Among these, the most prized versions are the “Blue Gems” – patterns that feature an abundance of blue coloration.

Blue Gem skins are ultimately just very expensive, and there isn’t much getting around that.

Still, it’s essential to let everyone know that rather than spending $500 on an M9 Bayonet Doppler, like the other 100,000 CS:GO players, there are more unique and amazing options for you to stand out. You can do it on a budget.
