The playoff stage of VCT Pacific is only a few days away. The top eight teams that will be taking part in this phase of the tournament have been confirmed, along with their seeding. The first match of this phase will be between Global Esports and RRQ.

In the group stage, RRQ had a record of four wins with one less and finished as the second seed from Group Omega. Due to T1 finishing with a 5-0 record, they didn’t get the top seed.
Global Esports, on the other hand, finished as the third seed with three wins and two losses to their name. One player who has been spearheading the run of Global Esports is John Patrick “PatMen” Ramos Mendoza. In the team’s previous match against Nongshim RedForce, he stacked up 67 kills and 13 assists. This was the highest output by a player during VCT Pacific Stage 1 2026.
One player everyone should keep an eye on from RRQ is the Russian Ace Maksim “Jemkin” Batorov. In this tournament, he has been averaging 24 kills on each map.
On the map of Bind, Jemkin has a first blood success rate of 56.2%. One stat that Global Esports has a lot more dominance on is their win rate on pistol rounds. This tournament, they have had a 61% win rate vs RRQ’s 48%, showcasing their dominance on pistol rounds.
Looking at the betting odds for this game, RRQ are the favorites to win this game. It must be noted that Global Esports has multiple times beaten the odds this tournament.
Our prediction for this game is that Global Esports will win 2-1. We believe that the synergy between the Global Esports team is still growing. With this break in matches, they have a lot of time to prepare themselves and defeat RRQ.
