G2 Esports was the only European team to show any form in either of the two international tournaments that just concluded. MKOI’s performance in the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational and 2025 Esports World Cup left much to be desired, which was more disappointing for fans because the team won the last LEC split. G2 getting knocked out of the 2025 MSI by FlyQuest with a 0-3 score added further salt to these wounds. Most European teams are going into the LEC Summer split with something to prove, and that includes both GIANTX and KC.
Betting tip: It wouldn’t be surprising if KC’s overconfidence gives GIANTX a game, but expect Karmine Corp to win the series.
GIANTX doesn’t have any large accolades to its name, and it’s no surprise why when you watch them in action. The team’s jungler Isma continues to struggle against other junglers, forcing its other players to have to pick up the slack. The match against Fnatic in the 2025 LEC Spring split which led to GIANTX’s elimination is a great example, as it saw Isma struggle to make his presence known, even in games in which his team won the majority of the lanes.
Isma isn’t GIANTX’s only weak link. While Noah is a good ADC, GX support Jun constantly seems to jeopardize the bottom lane with his picks. While he performs well enough with champions like Nautilus and Alistar, the fearless draft system forces him to take picks like Gragas and Rumble on support, which usually doesn’t end well when facing a properly structured bottom lane. Jackies and Lot are fairly reliable and could carry GX alongside Noah if Isma better helps them to win their respective lanes.

Karmine Corp’s overconfidence has led to its elimination multiple times. While reaching the 2025 First Stand grand final was impressive, but its route to the final was fraught and the team seemingly stopped trying to improve after that, instead opting to go in without an evolving strategy and losing matches it otherwise should have won. For example, Canna going Renekton in the last game against MKOI in the recent LEC Spring split was a questionable pick considering the player would have likely fared better with Jax or Gnar. These drafting issues need to be cleaned up.
Karmine Corp’s macro saw a decline in the last LEC split, and the team will likely continue to struggle if it hasn’t improved since then. With Caliste seemingly more worried about not dying than taking fights that he could have won, and Yike and Vladi looking hopeless in any game in which Canna doesn’t have a gold advantage, the last LEC split exposed multiple holes in Karmine Corp’s playing style that need to be cleaned up.

GIANTX isn’t a bad team, but it falls short relative to Karmine Corp. With more international experience and a recent history of comfortably winning against most other European teams, Karmine Corp will likely overwhelm GIANTX on the back of its stronger ADC and more reliable jungler. However, KC’s occasional overconfidence and GIANTX having something to prove may result in GIANTX winning one game.
Our GIANTX vs Karmine Corp prediction: Karmine Corp as the match winner 2-1 at 1.55 odds at GG.BET.
