After nearly two months of intense VALORANT action, the grand final of VALORANT Challengers 2026: Korea Split 1 is upon us. The top eight teams from South Korea faced off, with only two remaining: Gen.G Global Academy and Onside Gaming. This will be the third time we will see a face-off between Gen.G Global Academy and Onside Gaming. As you can see from the name, Gen.G Academy is the academy roster of Gen.G.
Their first match took place in the group stage of the tournament. During that match, Onside Gaming defeated Gen.G Global Academy 2-0. Their second match was in the upper bracket final of this competition.
Gen.G Global Academy tried their level best to get their revenge, but they couldn’t, once again losing to Onside Gaming 2-0.
