Nvidia is back at it again with the new graphics cards, this time announcing the new RTX 4090 and 4080.
Just as some gamers were able to get their hands on the 3000 series, the 4000 series is announced. Open your wallets, PC hype-beasts.
The 4090 and 4080 will be released on October 12, 2022.
The RTX 4080 will cost $899 and the stronger GPU, the RTX 4090, will cost $1,599.
The good news is that the 3000 series will take a massive dip in price once these GPUs are on the market.

Finally, we received the announcement that critically acclaimed puzzle FPS, Portal, is getting RTX love. Portal with RTX launches in Nov. 2023 and is free for Portal owners through Steam.
Get your wallets out, PC owners. Another year, another $1,500 for PC hype beasts to spend on an upgrade – this time with a bigger number: the RTX 4090.
I’m not someone who always has to have the newest hardware. I’ll check back in on the 3000 series once my 2070 stops being able to handle the games I’m playing.
