If players have ever dreamt of spoiling all their teammates with free weapons in CS2, it’s now possible with the new money glitch. But players may get banned for it.
Economy management is a big part of Counter-Strike 2. Good aim can bag kills, but without a solid grasp on the economy, players won’t go far in CS2. Most cracked aimers in CS2 often find themselves without money due to poor spending habits, which is the main reason behind rating loss. A new money glitch in CS2 temporarily solves this problem if fans are willing to risk a ban. On July 17, players came across a game-breaking bug in CS2 that allows you to purchase dozens of weapons even when they’re out of cash.
This has led to players sharing insane clips of spam-shopping weapons and utilities and dropping them in the spawn.
The infinite money glitch in CS2 is not triggered randomly, but is activated by feeding certain commands into the console.
For this reason, it’s more of an exploit than a bug, and it’s recommended that you avoid using it. Youtuber FNScence has shared that the money glitch in CS2 won’t work randomly. Instead, users have to enter customized commands for each weapon and then bind them to certain keys for the exploit to work as intended. This means that using the bug may get players instantly banned in CS2, especially if they try using it on a public server.
Since the discovery of the glitch, many players have replicated it in the game by using the buy and drop commands in CS2. It’s worth noting that it’s less a money glitch and more a visual one. The game is simply duplicating a skin, which leads to a player being able to drop multiple at once by pressing a single key.
While this exploit takes a bit of effort if you want it to work, it’s still seriously dangerous for the game’s integrity. It won’t be surprising if Valve rolls out an instant fix for this latest game-breaking glitch in CS2.
While CS2 deals with money glitches, Valorant players are eyeing the potential impact of Unreal Engine 5 on FPS performance.
