There’s a lot of buzz about Betr these days, right? So, I figured I’d bring you guys a full blown Betr review of the brand’s popular daily fantasy sports (DFS) offering, as well as their ever expanding sportsbook.
Right now, Betr offers legal access to its “Betr Picks” DFS games in more than 20 different US states, and its slightly newer online sportsbook in three. I’m convinced both are fun, competitive and well worth checking out. And today, I’m going to be talking about why. Here’s everything you need to know about all things Betr.

As I said above, Betr has two primary product offerings – a DFS app that was first launched by CEO Joey Levy and social media influencer Jake Paul in 2022, and an online sportsbook that’s been going since August 2024.
So, allow me to hit you with two separate mini Betr reviews here, detailing what you can expect from each:
First up, I found the operator’s flagship DFS offering dead easy to understand and play, which I’d say is great news for any fantasy sports newbies among you.
How does Betr Picks work? Well, basically, you’ll pick individual athletes across your favorite sports, then predict whether they’ll go over or under specific stats during a game.
For example, let’s say you select LeBron James to score more than 25 points. If LeBron follows through, you’ll win, while if he falls short of the 25-point mark, you’ll lose.
At the time of writing, promotional multipliers make it possible to potentially win up to 2,000x your initial entry in participating states, while there are fun features like “Pre-Built Lineups” and “Injury Pick Protection” to sink your teeth into, too. There are also a ton of different stat types to choose from, such as:
What’s more, my Betr review found that while you can only pick individual athletes on the app rather than building full fantasy dream teams, its market coverage is superbly varied – with NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, UFC, golf and a whole bunch of other popular fantasy sports up for grabs.
With the brand’s sportsbook, I found that coverage tends to revolve more around MLB and NBA specific markets, with fun “Micro Market” options slotted in somewhere in between.
The odds tend to be super competitive, and I found you’ll be able to bet on anything from winners, spreads and odds/evens to niche player and game props built around assists, rebounds and hits, too. So long as you’re based in an eligible state, of course.
At the time of writing, my Betr ratings for the USA found you can only use Betr’s sportsbook from IN, MD and OH, with their once available VA option sadly phased out in July 2025. On the bright side, those of you in permitted states will be able to tap into rare and fun features like:
Meanwhile, a real time bet tracking tool makes piecing together more complicated bets a breeze. Whilst a nifty “Promo Hub” tab serves up regular odds boosts and other exciting promotions weekly.
I stumbled across a pretty superb DFS bonus here, which I recently wrote a detailed Betr promo code review about.
The offer is worth up to $30 in “Betr Bucks” credits when you make a $10 deposit, followed by qualifying cash picks of $10 or more, beforehand. And in my experience, it’s relatively easy to claim and use the bonus to its fullest potential, too, so long as you play through your Betr Bucks at least once – and within 30 days of claiming – prior to requesting any withdrawals.
If you’re signing up with the sportsbook instead, I didn’t see any sports specific bonuses advertised at the time of writing, sadly. But as I said above, odds boosts promos and other one off deals are routinely made available to existing bettors via the app’s “Promo Hub”.
I found that currently, you can register with Betr and enjoy DFS play legally from more than 20 different US states. Right now, standard Betr Picks are permitted in AK, CA, GA, IL, IN, MN, NE, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, VT and WI.
However, if you’re playing from AR, DC, KS or KY, you’ll be offered access to alternative, peer to peer (P2P) based DFS games instead. While DFS fans based anywhere else in the US can’t currently play here, unfortunately.
As for Betr’s sportsbook, the latest T&Cs have this down as being up for grabs in IN, MD and OH only – where the brand has successfully signed licensing agreements with local regulators in recent years. Not so long back, the sportsbook was available in Virginia, too, until Betr formally pulled out of VA in July 2025.
Familiarizing yourself with Betr’s state level restrictions is vital before signing up, then. But so long as you’re operating in line with these rules, I found that Betr is secure, trustworthy and totally above board. Thanks largely to its:

Betr’s DFS and sports betting hubs are both beautifully designed. But if you haven’t heard already, it’s important to be aware that the brand’s offerings are entirely app only.
Betr does have a website. But I found this acts as an online information page and help center only; you won’t find any DFS picks options or sportsbook odds up for grabs on it directly.
Download Betr’s app, and your location will determine which of the brand’s services you’ll be able to access. From there, setting up an account and signing in is a cinch, on page filters make picking athletes or piecing together sports bets fuss free, and a single collapsible burger menu contains everything else you might need.
In a word, yes. Betr’s app can be downloaded from either Apple’s App Store or Google Play, where it holds superb Betr ratings of 4.6 out of 5.0, across thousands of reviews.
The easiest way to download their app, mind, is to click my official banner links on this page and then hit the “Download” button from the brand’s super informative, beginner friendly website.
I’ve been making DFS picks and dropping sports bets from the app for a while now, and its performance never ceases to amaze me. I’ve encountered next to zero lag or glitchiness when flicking between pages, and have found its push notifications – which remind you of things like odds boosts and new bonuses – to be super useful and intuitive while betting.
Whether you’re here for DFS or for sports betting, Betr’s payment options are remarkably diverse – and the waiting times on deposits and withdrawals are excellent, too.
At the time of writing, I found you can deposit using VISA and MasterCard debit cards, PayPal or bank transfer, with a $5 minimum imposed, and instantaneous transactions across the board.
As for cashing out, withdrawals are offered across all the above options from a minimum of just $1. Pick bank transfer, and withdrawals can potentially take up to five business days to process. But stick with PayPal, VISA or MasterCard, and I found you’re more likely to get your funds within in a much speedier 48 hours or less.

Betr’s app has all sorts of contact options up for grabs if ever you need a helping hand with a withdrawal related query or the like. However, I found that their information only website should probably be your first port of call here, as it offers category upon category of genuinely helpful FAQs
If the Help Center’s cleverly grouped Q&A section isn’t helpful enough, mind, my Betr ratings found that you’ll also be able to speak to the team directly via:
| Customer Service | ![]() |
|---|---|
| Available Languages: | English |
| Email: | support@betr.app |
| Telephone: | 305-605-2387 |
Log in to your Betr account frequently enough, and I found you’ll be able to benefit from all sorts of different existing customer bonuses at the time of writing.
DFS players among you can take advantage of the Betr Platinum loyalty program – which is sometimes referred to as “Betr Ballers” instead. How does it work? Well, play through $500 or more in cash DFS entries monthly, and you’ll receive a direct invitation. From there, the club offers its members such perks as:
Meanwhile, for those of you more into sports betting, I found that bettors in qualifying US states can potentially claim up to $20 per referral via Betr Sportsbook’s refer a friend program. While odds boosts and daily and weekly promotions are routinely made available via the in app “Promo Hub” mentioned earlier.
Betr’s beautifully designed app has a lot going for it. But as already explained, there are major variations in what the app offers from one US state to the next. So, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the operator’s eligibility rules before you register.
For those of you in DFS friendly states, my Betr review found that Betr is brilliant for beginner friendly, props based picks with huge potential multipliers, and generous Betr Platinum loyalty perks. While you can also claim a competitive welcome offer worth up to $30 in Betr Bucks when you first register and use $10 of your own cash on qualifying picks first.
Meanwhile, Betr’s sports betting offering, which is currently limited to bettors based in IN, MD and OH only, is just as much fun, even if it doesn’t offer quite so many bonuses just yet.

I certainly think so, yes – all new DFS users can claim up to $30 in Betr Bucks when depositing and playing through $10 on cash picks first, while there’s an excellent loyalty club available that serves up bonus drops every Monday, and other unique in app benefits.
Absolutely not. Their app only DFS offering has been going since 2022 and is verifiably legal available in more than 20 different US states. Meanwhile, in IN, MD and OH, the brand currently offers a properly regulated online sports betting service.
Currently, you can make picks across NFL, NBA, MLB and a ton of other top sports – including UFC, hockey and golf.
