Copenhagen Flames are one step closer to playing in the Avicii Arena following a decisive win against FaZe Clan.
CPHF keeps impressing at the PGL Stockholm Major, as the young Danes are now one victory away from reaching the play-offs. They made quick work of FaZe on Ancient, sending the star-studded lineup to the elimination bracket.
Gambit win CIS derby
In a game where hobbit tied the record of most kills during regulation at a Major, Gambit won the CIS derby against Virtus.pro. Hobbit finished the map with 39 kills to his name, a feat only matched by flamie at the ELEAGUE Major in 2018.
With the victory, Gambit joins CPHF in the 2-1 bracket, and are close to securing playtime in front of a crowd for the first time in close to two years.
Astralis continue to struggle
Astralis haven’t been able to turn around their performances compared to the 16-1 loss to NIP yesterday evening. The defending Major Chmapions lost the Danish derby against Heroic, 16-7.
Astralis drop down to the 1-2 bracket, meaning they have to win two games in a row in order to make it to the play-offs. Heroic need just one more win.
Furia upset Liquid
Brazilian hopeful Furia has secured a surprising victory against Team Liquid. They beat their Northern neighbours with 16-9 on Inferno.
With star player kscerato having a stellar performance, finishing the map with a 1.67 HLTV rating, they now join Heroic, Gambit and CPHF at the 2-1 score.
