This week is one massive W for CS2 player Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač, as after winning the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, G2’s rifler then announced the birth of his third child on November 4, 2024.
huNter- proudly took to X to share that his third son was born, sharing a photo of the newborn in the hospital. He wrote: “Yesterday lifting the trophy and today getting one more. Proud of my wife, my hero. Twenty-four hours of dream.” This marks two major moments in both huNter-‘s personal life and career.
Here’s a first look at huNter-‘s third child and details on his victory just before the event.
huNter- shared pictures of his third child, who was born a day after G2’s championship at BLAST World Final.
G2 had an incredible run at the last-ever BLAST World Final, taking home $500,000 after a dominant win. After defeating Team Liquid in Group A, G2 was guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Then, the squad faced Team Spirit in the group stage’s winners match coming out on top 2-0. This then catapulted G2 to the semifinals. This is where G2 took down Team Vitality, the last BLAST World Final champions.
G2 met with Spirit again, this time in the finals. During the final match on Dust 2, huNter- all but carried his team to victory. He finished that map with 27 kills and five assists, showing pure dominance and aggression that Team Spirit couldn’t hold back.
With this win, G2 has now earned three championships in 2024: Intel Extreme Masters Dallas, BLAST Premier: Fall Final, and now the World Final. Interestingly enough, this is also huNter-‘s third child.
At just 28 years old, fans were both impressed at his lifetime worth of achievements already while some fans expressed strange concerns about how it was possible for him to support such a large family on the salary of a CS2 player. While huNter-‘s prize earnings are already quite impressive, his salary is estimated to be between $100,000 and $200,000 per year. This would definitely be enough to support a family, especially in Serbia.
huNter- and his wife seem happy creating a CS2 roster of their own. Fans joked that he could add his cousin and teammate Nikola “Niko” Kovač to the roster and it would be complete.
