After both beating Team Secret Whales and losing to Bilibili Gaming, G2 and BNK FearX (BFX) have one final chance to qualify to the Knockout Stage of First Stand 2026. By the look of things, BFX should be the one advancing. Will Europe manage to avoid elimination against all odds?
Betting tip: BFX are the obvious favorites, and seeing the way G2 played against Bilibili Gaming, we shouldn’t expect surprises.
My G2 Esports vs BNK FearX pick: Under 4.5 maps at 1.4 odds at GG.BET.

G2 Esports tends to live or die by Caps’ form. Unfortunately for them, it was Claps who showed up against BLG. Knight made him look like a fool in all three games, and the same thing happened top lane.
Moreover, the entire team kept on missing skillshots left and right. From ultimates to mere Mundo Qs, the team that is usually clutch had skirmishes barely escape their grasp from missing these margins. This might be a slump, or it might also be that clutching against Eastern teams isn’t as easy. Whichever one, this doesn’t bode well for G2.
As for BFX, they’ve shown a far higher level. BNK FearX put up a much better fight against BLG than G2, and they looked clean against Team Secret Whales.
Raptor and Diable ran the show in particular. The jungler was everywhere and always winning the fights he took. As for Diable, he might grow to become the best ADC in the world. Fresh off of his second pentakill in two matches, TSW only managed to kill him by sacrificing their entire team.
VicLa was quieter, and Clear ping-ponged between making great plays and being a liability. This is where G2’s hope resides. If Caps can show up as Claps again and BrokenBlade can pick himself back up, G2’s solo lanes could win them the match.
However, that’s a big if. On the other side, BFX’s bot and jungle are certainties. Hans Sama can play as a neutralizer and Labrov can be a roaming playmaker. This has to be G2’s best bet, but they’ll still have to face the eventuality of Diable while Raptor terrorizes the rift from the start of the game.

G2 will fare better against BFX than they did against BLG. The LEC representative stands an actual chance there, but it’s a slim one. Seeing G2’s form and BFX’s overall level, this match should be a resounding win for BNK FearX.
