On the other hand, FURIA hasn’t shown much to its fans in a while. The team was fairly inconsistent in 2025 and only finished first in the lesser-known Tixinha Invitational. FURIA failed to perform in VCT 2024: America’s kickoff, stage 1, or stage 2, and the team’s 2025 hasn’t been much better. FURIA was knocked out of the VCT 2025: Americas kickoff after losing to Leviatán and Evil Geniuses.

FURIA has showcased inconsistent performances and its members haven’t displayed anything that shows they have the skills to cause an upset versus G2.
On the other hand, G2 Esports has big names like leaf and trent, both of whom have recently shown carry potential. Even if FURIA is able start the first game strong, G2 will likely adapt to the opposition’s playing style as it recently did against EDward Gaming before coming back even stronger. Based on recent performances, G2 Esports may end the match with a decisive score of 2-0, making it the smarter betting pick despite the difference in potential returns.
