Fuslie will return to Twitch, but what about YouTube?

Fuslie Twitch

After streaming exclusively on YouTube for two years, popular streamer Leslie “Fuslie” Fu has announced that she’ll return to Twitch.

Streamer Leslie “Fuslie” Fu started her career in 2015 streaming a variety of content such as gaming and Just Chatting streams, which helped the streamer steadily rise to fame. Fuslie even collaborated with other content creators like Pokimane, Twitch’s most-followed female streamer. The 100 Thieves member started streaming on YouTube in 2022 and ceased activities on Twitch. In addition to her content, the streamer has been in the news for many controversies, especially those related to cheating. YouTuber Noah “NoahJ456” Johnson later confirmed the allegations by admitting to having an “emotional affair” with the Twitch streamer.

On October 27, 2024, Fuslie announced that she’ll return to streaming on Twitch again and fans wonder whether she’ll continue streaming on YouTube.

When will Fuslie return to Twitch?

The streamer Fuslie announced that she will first return Twitch on October 29, 2024.

Fuslie signed a YouTube contract along with other streamers such as DrLupo, FaZe Swagg, Sykkuno, and TimTheTatman in 2022. DrLupo and TimTheTatman continued to stream on Twitch along with YouTube while FaZe Swagg and Sykkuno ended their contracts and returned to Twitch.

Fuslie is following the other streamers and she announced her return to Twitch. Her Twitch channel’s partner badge returned, signaling that the streamer would now be streaming on the platform for a significant portion of her schedule. Fuslie had shifted to YouTube because her channel was only one DMCA strike away from being taken down.

Will Fuslie continue to stream on YouTube?

Fuslie stated that she’ll stream on both Twitch and YouTube simultaenously.

The streamer streaming on both platforms can be a way to make sure that she doesn’t lose viewers if she faces issues on Twitch again. However, the streamer was thankful for her time on YouTube indirectly insinuating her contract had ended. Fuslie’s return is part of a wider return of YouTube gamers who have appeared on Twitch again after their exclusivity contracts ended.

Her return also signifies that she probably talked to Twitch support and came to an agreement. Furthermore, streaming on multiple platforms gives streamers more freedom. Multi-streaming on multiple platforms means that viewers can view live content simultaneously on all platforms. This way streamers can reach a wider audience that can consume their content.
