FURIA lifted the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 trophy in Hong Kong after taking down Falcons in an absolutely thrilling grand finals on November 16th.
The win sees FURIA lift their third CS2 championship in a row, having previously won IEM Chengdu over Vitality and the Thunderpick World Championship over Natus Vincere. Before that, FURIA won their first big CS2 trophy at FISSURE Playground 2.
On top of that, this win over Falcons at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 sees the in-game leader Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo clinch his 13th best-of-five in a row. The veteran hasn’t lost a best-of-five since the IEM Katowice 2016 grand finals to Fnatic.
Here’s a summary of how the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 grand finals between FURIA and Falcons played out.

Picks and bans:
Even though FURIA won the series 3-1, they were absolutely dominated on Inferno as Falcons put on a CT-side masterclass (10-2), and closed it out 13-3 after switching to Terrorists.
But, as the series went on, FURIA showed why they’re the best CS2 team in the world nowadays. They tied the series on Nuke (13-9) as Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis put out, possibly, the best T-side performance ever. The Latvian was absolutely unstoppable and finished that T-side with 21 kills, just three deaths, and a mind-blowing 4.06 rating.
And what we saw after Nuke was a hell of a nail-biter series. Falcons tried their best to keep up with FURIA, and nearly won both Train and Mirage, but the Brazilian-CIS team held their own in the overtime. They won Train by 19-15 and Mirage by 19-16 to run away with the title.
YEKINDAR, the best FURIA player in the grand finals, spoke about how exhaustive the match was.
I don’t know how to explain it, but God wanted me to win today. Honestly, all of you, thank you for the support. It’s really exhausting, especially against such a great, versatile team like Falcons. It’s very hard to play, it’s draining out your mental. Every round, everytime is end game, nobody is giving out silly entries or anything. Props to them, but I’m so happy I’m coming home and I’m going to be laying on that bed 24/7.
Curiously, even though YEKINDAR led the charges for FURIA in the grand finals, Falcons’ superstar AWPer Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov won the MVP award, as he had a better tournament overall. The Russian posted a 1.42 rating after 10 maps played, whereas Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato was the highest-rated player on FURIA, averaging a 1.23 rating on 12 maps.
