The first big arena Grand Final of 2026 is here, with two of the best CS2 teams, FURIA and Vitality, ready to butt heads in the IEM Kraków finale.
Vitality are looking to cement their era with another elite event victory, while FURIA want to continue establishing themselves at the top of the scene.

Despite being the underdogs in their semi-final bout against Spirit, FURIA came out on top after a delectable display of Counter-Strike splendor, especially from Danil “molodoy” Golobenko.
The young AWPer was exhilarating to watch on the Tauron Arena stage, constantly making flashy plays and ripping Spirit apart at every opportunity he had.
Although Vitality were cheered in their semi-final match against MOUZ, fans inside the arena will certainly back FURIA to lift the IEM Kraków trophy on Sunday.
It would be a first for all the players on FURIA’s roster, even the vastly experienced in-game leader Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo.
The father of Brazilian CS has won almost everything, but never the winter IEM title, as mentioned in our pre-playoffs FURIA Fallen interview.
FURIA has already shown that they can beat Vitality in a best-of-five Grand Final, but will they be able to do the same at IEM Kraków?

No matter the occasion or circumstances, Vitality always deliver quality Counter-Strike and outclass their opponents.
In the second semi-final, MOUZ got simply destroyed by Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and the rest of the Vitality squad.
The Frenchman is playing one of his best tournaments ever right now, eyeing up another MVP medal, and edging closer and closer to undisputed GOAT status.
Last two times these two teams met, FURIA came out on top. This should give Dan “apEX” Madesclaire extra fire to defeat their biggest challenger at one of the grandest stages.
Fans should expect map veto shenanigans from either team, as Ancient is the perma ban for both. Last time they met in a BO5, both teams floated the map, and FURIA bested Vitality 13:11.
This time around, Vitality already had some practice on the map, beating Aurora in the group stage in an absolute marathon of a game.
It will be interesting to see the map veto mind games between the two finalists on Sunday.

The CS2 betting odds have Vitality as favorites to defend their IEM Katowice title, and expand their trophy cabinet.
While the Bees have the edge in any matchup, FURIA is the most difficult opponent they could have faced in the Grand Final.
CS2 fans could’t have wished for a better matchup. We will certainly see at least four maps of exhilarating action on Sunday.
Let’s see who will come out on top.
