FURIA and Falcons have made it into the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 grand finals in Hong Kong. The winner will take home $125,000 and arrive at the StarLadder Budapest Major with all the confidence in the world.
Here is everything you need to know about the BLAST Rivals grand finals between FURIA and Falcons.
| Match | FURIA vs. Falcons – BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 grand finals |
|---|---|
| Kick-off | November 16th, 2025, at 3 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. CET |
| Top pick | Falcons to win 3-2 |
| Betting favorite | Falcons |
FURIA are coming to this match in hot form as they’ve just defeated Vitality by 3-0 to win IEM Chengdu 2025 last week. They’ve also won the Thunderpick World Championship 2025 in October and FISSURE Playground 2 in September.
Falcons, on the other hand, have only won one tournament this year, PGL Bucharest 2025 in April, and they still had their old lineup. The Saudi-backed team have not won anything since bringing in Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin.
In summary, I don’t quite get why FURIA aren’t the betting favorites for this one. On top of their great momentum, FURIA defeated Falcons in the last three times they played one another: IEM Cologne, FISSURE Playground 2, and IEM Chengdu.

Simply put, FURIA are the best CS2 team in the world right now. They already showed potential in the first half of 2025 after the additions of Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, and have peaked now toward the end of the year.
Their tactics are good, their players are individually sharp, and they’re starting to develop that mental fortitude after winning three tournaments. It’s not just molodoy carrying them; everyone is chiming in with frags in tough moments.
And, FURIA have been perfect so far in BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2. They’ve defeated paiN Gaming twice and won a nail-biter vs. Vitality.

There’s no doubt that Falcons are one of the top teams in the world, but they still haven’t fully blossomed in 2025. Fans and experts predicted that Falcons would bring in trophies after the addition of kyousuke after their disastrous BLAST.tv Austin Major run in June.
However, Falcons struggled a bit to find balance, as they have three aggressive riflers in Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, René “TeSeS” Madsen, and kyousuke. And, m0NESY had a slump too, which didn’t help.
But now, they’ve been consistently making deep runs, and m0NESY is back at his prime. It’s a matter of time before this lineup break their semifinals/grand finals curse and lift a trophy.
BLAST Rivals is already a net-positive for Falcons, as they defeated two strong contenders in Team Spirit and Vitality, plus an easier win over Passion UA. But, to win the trophy, they have to keep it up against FURIA.

As we mentioned, FURIA are 3-0 against Falcons this season. They never played a best-of-five before, but even so, this shouldn’t help Falcons at all, as FURIA have a deeper map pool.
And, to make things worse for Falcons, FURIA’s in-game leader Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo hasn’t lost a best-of-five finals since 2016. After losing the IEM Katowice finals vs. Fnatic in 2016, FalleN has won 12 BO5 matches in a row. He’s simply the best captain when it comes to BO5, and Falcons’ IGL Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski has far less experience.
Given that m0NESY and molodoy are the best players on Falcons and FURIA at the moment, their form will be decisive. But the rest of the FURIA players are playing better right now, so it’s not impossible that Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato, Yuri “yuurih” Santos, or YEKINDAR step up and lead the charges.
As good as Falcons are, I simply don’t see them beating FURIA in the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 grand finals. The Brazilians are playing simply too good at the moment, and they have all the confidence in the world.
