Fortnite x Disney collab grows with exciting Creative map

The Fortnite and Disney crossover continues to get bigger. Initially, the two brands came together to create a “Disney experience,” a project that would bring together the incredible amount of IPs from Disney that are available in the metaverse. For a while, though, that primarily just meant skins of different Disney characters. Captain Hook, Elastigirl, Maleficent, Cruella De Vil, and many others joined other collaborative skins in the Fortnite Item Shop recently. Now, there’s finally an actual Creative experience that somewhat mirrors that original goal.

Fortnite x Disney map launches in Creative mode

Those who miss the Marvel Mythic items, such as Captain America’s Shield, Stormbreaker, Iron Man’s Repulsor, and others, are in luck. Those, and other Mythic items, are finally going to be in a Creative map thanks to Fortnite x Disney. The crossover is going to allow those items to finally be back in the game. The same is true of lightsabers from the Star Wars crossovers.

Because those were licensed items, they could not be added to the Creative mode for everyone to use. Since this is an officially licensed Disney map, the items can be available. You’ll be able to use Darth Vader’s Lightsaber, Hawkeye’s Bow, and so much more that has been unavailable for a very long time. In the case of some of those Marvel items, they’ve been out of the game since the 2019 LTM Endgame left.

That’s not all, though, as this map will effectively serve as the central hub of this crossover. Players will be able to visit iconic Disney locations and interact with characters. The Incredibles, Jack Sparrow, The Mandalorian, Iron Man, Jake Sully (Avatar), Peter Griffin, Bart Simpson in the Fortnite x Simpsons collab, and many other Fortnite characters are under the Disney umbrella, and many of them will be featured in this map.
