Summer break is over, and Epic Games are back at it with the Fortnite v21.40 patch notes.
This is one of the biggest updates of the season – and is expected to be the last major update before Season 4.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball Gameplay Trailer
Throughout Chapter 3 Season 3, several locations on the map have been heavily affected by the Reality Roots.
The Reality Roots have now reached all the way to Daily Bugle; the POI has now been renamed to The Daily Bloomgle – a new pirate ship.
Cannons have also returned, allowing players a quick exit option in what’s set to be another hot-drop on the island.
The highly anticipated Fortnite X Dragon Ball collaboration is here!
The Dragon Ball collaboration allows players to rock their favorite character and to participate in challenges to receive other cosmetic and XP rewards!
This is one of the largest bundles in recent memory, with four different skins and more additional cosmetics than we can count.
Another element of this crossover is a re-design of the Battle Bus. As expected, we’re getting a Dragon Ball theme – complete with music from the franchise.
The final major area of the Fortnite patch notes for v21.40 are the two new Mythic items.
These are the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud.
The Kamehameha allows players to “launch a devastating energy beam at anyone who crosses your path,” and the Nimbus Cloud is, essentially, a glider re-deploy item.
These items work well together, as you can launch yourself into the sky with the Nimbus Cloud and rain hell on an opponent with the Kamehameha.
