Fortnite fans were hyped for another Fallout collaboration in Chapter 5 Season 3, but a single bobblehead has turned that enthusiasm into disappointment.
Fortnite is well-known for its collaborations with other franchises from Marvel to Dragon Ball Z. When Epic teased another round with Fallout on social media last month, it stirred up a lot of hype. Fallout is also an incredibly popular game, and the recent show has only brought more interest to the series as a whole. Fans expected more power armor cosmetics, vault suit options, and more in-game items. However, that’s now what they got.
The Fallout bobblehead dropped today in Fortnite, and it isn’t receiving the same enthusiasm as items from past collabs.
The Fortnite Fallout bobblehead backbling has received a less than stellar welcome, with many players wishing that there was more.
So is it literally just the bobblehead? that's the entire fallout collab's shop selection?

Major complaints include not getting even default Vault skins and a high price for a small item.
But there’s an important note to the release. The Fallout bobblehead backbling says that it’s part of a “Vault-Tec set.” Could more items be on the way? Chapter 5 Season 3 is likely to continue for another month, so fans still have time to get all of the skins their hearts desire.
The bobblehead costs 600 VB and is only in the shop until July 2.
Despite the poor reception of the Fallout bobblehead, Fortnite has dropped a few other items since the start of Season 3.
For instance, the famous Nuka Cola drink from Fallout can be found as either floor loot or in chests. The beverage instantly grants the user 25 points of health and gradually restores 75 shield points.
Players can also unlock the T-60 Power Armor through the battle pass. The Hot Rod skin is available on page 10 of the battle pass. Meanwhile, the Black Knight skin is part of the bonus rewards on page 2. Other battle pass items include a Pip-Boy backbling, a Vault-Tec Vaulter glider, and an Assaultron Blade pickaxe.
However, the bobblehead is so far the only Fallout item available in the shop. More skins are likely, but not promised, to drop in the coming days. Until then, players are stuck in the Wastelands with only their Vault Boy bobblehead for company.
