Fortnite doubling-down on Tent mechanics

Tents are among the new mechanics added to Fortnite in Chapter 3, and they haven’t gotten a ton of attention.

The idea behind tents are cool. They allow you to carry more items and heal yourself by resting.

At the same time, they take a bit too much time and effort to use, and get left on the ground more often than not.

Epic are trying to change that by allowing player to buy upgrades for the tent with gold.

Hypex had some info on this, but we’ll know more when these new mechanics go live.
