Fortnite just entered Chapter 6 Mini Season 2, featuring a Fortnite x Simpsons crossover. While the season will be shorter than what we’re used to, it’s still in its early stages, meaning that there’s plenty of time to acquire new gear and cosmetics. Despite the Mini Season’s launch, everyone seems to be looking ahead to the next big update, Chapter 7. New chapters are always exciting.
This time, though, it’s not just fans and players who are looking ahead. Even with a few more weeks to go, Epic Games itself is looking ahead, as they’ve already begun rolling out teasers for what’s to come.
An official teaser was sent to and subsequently shared by Nick Eh 30, a content creator who has become so intertwined with Fortnite that he has his own Fortnite ICON skin. The teaser showcases a few things specifically.
First, it mentions coordinates of longitude and latitude, which eagle-eyed players realized are the location of the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, California. That seems to be a pretty clear indication that movies will play a big role in Chapter 7.
“Zero Hour” is also referenced in the video, but it’s currently unclear what that is referring to. The meaning behind that will ultimately be revealed either in another teaser or when the new chapter drops. The speculation is that it’s the name of the live event that will bring about this new season.
The video states that something in “early access” is available for “one night only” on November 19. Additionally, “Fortnite After Dark with Q & U” was listed on the computer screen in the teaser.
This appears to be a reference to Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman, as Q & U is how they were referred to in Kill Bill, their movie. More conjecture suggests that “after dark” refers to the name of the season.

Additionally, leaker ShiinaBR pointed out that some teasers were in-person at Game 7 of the World Series, referring to “Seven next,” which could be a hint that The Seven from Chapter 3 is returning. They were a prominent piece of the lore, and there were rumors that the Chapter 3 map might return. It famously had a statue of Dwayne Johnson’s The Foundation on it.
Epic seems to have doubled down on this. The co-founder of Epic Games posted another teaser, saying, “You people are just imagining things. Let’s take a big breath, count to 10, and let it go. Here we go: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, SEVEN, 8, 9, 10. Do we feel better now? Relaxation is the key!” The spelling of the number seems to indicate that The Seven are indeed returning.
For now, information is scarce. If Epic is already dropping official teasers, though, then it is safe to expect more in the coming weeks. We will keep you updated on everything as it’s revealed.
