Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 launch trailer just dropped from a leak, and Godzilla is the star.
2024 has been a great year for Fortnite fans, especially for fans of collabs and big-time events. From Greek gods to marvelous superheroes, Fortnite cemented its cultural footprint even further. As the year draws to a close, Epic Games has one more chapter left to hype up fans.
The official Fortnite account teased the upcoming Demon Hunters chapter for the holiday season. The short clips showcased the beautiful locations of the chapter, alongside a tease of new weapons and enemies. Leakers quickly dropped the full trailer for the upcoming DLC, and fans are already clamoring for the chapter’s launch.
Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 (titled Demon Hunters) launches on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Multiple Fortnite leakers just revealed the upcoming trailer for Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1. The leak showcased a distinctly Japanese theme, complete with sakura blossoms, cyberpunk, and samurai. In addition to the flashy anime-inspired action, fans got glimpses of the upcoming skins and characters.
Baymax and Godzilla are the standouts of the trailer. Baymax is garbed in his superhero armor, while Godzilla is just as massive as fans would want him to be. Leakers revealed that there would be new giant bosses in the chapter as well, such as the hulking samurai in the trailer and a humongous Oni. Not every giant is an enemy, however, as the wandering turtle looks quite peaceful.
The biggest of them all is the king of the monsters, Godzilla. The radioactive monster will trample around the map during games. Currently, it is unknown if Godzilla will be a raid boss like Doom, or just be a deadly hazard.
Weapons-wise, katanas are featured heavily in the trailer, confirming the fan-favorite weapon’s return. Some fans pointed out interesting gameplay changes too. Traversal options such as rolling after high falls, higher wall climbing, and wall jumping were seen throughout the trailer. Paired with a potential Godzilla fight in Fortnite Chapter 6 leak, players may have to dodge the monster’s atomic breath in exciting battles.
Outside of the game itself, many fans praised Epic Games for including a song from popular Japanese singer Ado. Some even claim this may be the best chapter yet. Luckily for fans, they won’t have to wait long to find out.
