Nicklas Bendtner is mainly known for his career in football, where he played for teams like Arsenal, Juventus, and Wolfsburg. And for his escapades in the London and Copenhagen nightlife.
Now the former football star has founded an esports company Prosapia Esport ApS, where he is registered as the CEO.
According to the Danish company register, the purpose of the company is to “develop young people for sports events in esport with a view to video and talent development in games in the esports environment”
In a realityshow on the streaming service Discovery+, Bendtner has been an advocate for esports and gaming, stating:
“I do not doubt that within 10-20 years, esports will be one of the biggest sports in the world, if not the biggest. It would be stupid of me not to invest relatively early, where you can still be involved without having to invest really, really much money,” Bendtner states in an episode according to Danish CSGO media Dust2.
Bendter quit his footballing career in 2021 after runs in Arsenal, Birmingham, Sunderland, Juventus, Wolfsburg, Nottingham Forest, Rosenborg and FC Copenhagen.
