We have a banger of a match in the Middle Bracket of VCT Kickoff EMEA 2026. Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov and Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev will take on their former teammates at Fnatic, with the winner getting a clear shot of qualifying for VCT Masters Santiago.
Here are our Valorant betting predictions for this big match, along with our first impressions and teams analysis.
Fnatic had to let go of arguably their best player – Chronicle, replacing him with Sylvain “Veqaj” Pattyn. So far, the team has looked relatively shaky, losing to BBL. Even though they have won three matches in a row since their defeat, all of these matches have been very close, with multiple maps going into Overtime, even though they faced weaker opposition like FUT and Natus Vincere.

Though these victories haven’t been too convincing, alarms aren’t ringing yet. Fnatic are known to start relatively slow at the beginning of the year, especially after they’ve just made a significant roster change. We trust them to go into this series against Vitality rejuvenated and ready to put on a great fight.
Team Vitality has become the talk of the town in the EMEA region. The French organization made significant roster changes, adding superstars such as Chronicle and Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen. However, this star-studded roster hasn’t meshed and reached its full potential just yet.

Vitality also lost their series against BBL, where they were demolished – failing to reach double digits on both maps, resulting in a 0-2 loss. But, apart from this defeat, Vitality’s other matches went swimmingly well, as they dominated their opposition, especially with a 13-0 map win against GIANTX.
Overall, it’s excusable for Vitality to have a slow start to the season, as they almost revamped their entire roster. We will only see them improve from here, and winning against Fnatic would be their first step to world domination.
This matchup between Fnatic and Vitality will likely be the biggest match of VCT Kickoff EMEA, and so we expect both teams to give it their all.
We believe Vitality enter this match with a slight veto advantage. To predict which team would come out on top, we would lean slightly towards Vitality, giving them a 60% chance of winning. However, we are also predicting this series to be close and scrappy, and lean towards taking over rounds on individual maps, especially on Fnatic’s map pick, which we expect to be Corrode.
