Is it the final week of VCT EMEA Stage 1 and there is one team in Group Omega that is undefeated, Fnatic. In their final match, Fnatic now face BBL Esports, a team that have defeated them quite a bit in the past.
BBL Esports and Fnatic have faced off against each other once already in the VCT 2026 season. Their first fixture took place in the upper bracket of VCT EMEA Kickoff 2026. In this match, BBL Esports defeated Fnatic 2-0.
Following that game, BBL Esports went on to qualify for VALORANT Masters Santiago, but things do look different for the upcoming VALORANT Masters London.
Currently, Fnatic are undefeated in VCT EMEA Stage 1. This is due to them being one of the best teams to know what they are good at and focusing on it.
In their previous game, they went down a map against GIANTX but went on to win that game 2-1 after clutching round after round. BBL Esports haven’t been at their best run of form during this event. They currently have a record of 2W – 2L within the competition.
In their previous match, they defeated Team Vitality in a thrilling match 2-1. Similar to Fnatic, BBL Esports completed a reverse sweep against one of the best teams in the region.
There are multiple reasons why Fnatic are currently the only team in its group to be undefeated. In the ongoing tournament, Fnatic have a 54% win rate on pistol rounds.
On Abyss, Fnatic are undefeated as well with a 3-0 record, making that map their domain. It must be noted that BBL Esports will most likely ban this map, so we could see Haven being played.
Following his shift to the Sentinel role, Emir Ali “Alfajer” Beder has been by far the best player in the region in that role. This tournament, he has been able to shut down enemy attacks on sight with a success rate of 68%.
Another player in Fnatic to keep an eye out for is Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski. He currently has a 57% success rate on getting the first kill on a given round.
Fnatic, however, must worry about one player from BBL Esports who was a nightmare for them in the previous match, Yusuf Kaan “Lar0k” Kanber. In their previous match-up, he had an ACS of 345, the highest by any player against Fnatic this year. It must be noted that since then, he has only improved.
Our predictions for this match are that it will be a 2-1 affair with Fnatic being the winners. Both these teams have already proven that they can complete a reverse sweep. It just feels like Fnatic currently feel invincible, as they have been able to counter every single team this tournament.
