FlyQuest faces Sentinels in the grand final of the Esports World Cup 2026 Online NA Qualifier. The winner of that match earns North America’s second seed at the EWC 2026, while the loser goes out with nothing.
SEN is coming from the winner’s bracket after already winning against FlyQuest last week. Can FLY ride the momentum of their win against Team Liquid and take their revenge to win the EWC Qualifier?
Betting tip: Sentinels have already won that match-up in both the EWC and the LCS Spring Split. SEN is the favorite to win it a third time.
My FlyQuest vs Sentinels prediction: Under 4.5 maps at 1.5 odds at GG.Bet.

FLY is the unexpected guest in the EWC Qualifier final, when Team Liquid was the contender everyone thought would be here. Instead, FlyQuest beat TLAW again yesterday.
However, this win didn’t do enough to cement FLY as a solid team. While they won against an opponent that’s undefeated in the LCS, Team Liquid did not display a good performance.
TLAW was solidly ahead for almost all of game 1, and won game 2 in a similar fashion. Then, FLY destroyed them in draft for game 3, using the same pocket pick that they already beat them with. FLY’s win relied on factors that they can’t reliably count on; they’re a team that grows fast, but perhaps not fast enough.
On the other hand, Sentinels are an oddball in NA. According to their own coach Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer, SEN can win or lose against any team.
Worse even is the fashion in which they do. Each of Sentinel’s series in the LCS has gone to three games, and they look like a completely different team in their wins than in their losses.
That makes them a tough team to predict. However, the one team that they’ve won against in the LCS Spring Split is FlyQuest. Sentinels also won against FLY no later than last week in the upper final of this tournament.

Sentinels show a vastly different face every day, every game even. However, FlyQuest is the one team they’ve shown consistent results against so far. In the grand final, they’re favorites to win one more time.
