This year’s LTA competition may have been fairly controversial, but the final championship playoffs has gone ahead while following the same format fans have become familiar with. With FlyQuest comfortably reaching the grand final and Keyd Stars following soon after through a lower bracket match upset win over 100 Thieves, the two teams will now compete for the trophy.
FlyQuest vs Keyd Stars match overview
Betting tip: Those looking for a potentially high-return bet may want to side with Keyd Stars taking the match to a fifth game.
My FlyQuest vs Keyd Stars pick: Total maps to be over 4.5 at 3.79 odds at GG.BET.
While Keyd Stars didn’t perform well against FlyQuest in the upper bracket final, the team more than bounced back against 100 Thieves. A dominant performance showcased by the South American team suggests its players have more than enough skill to cause an upset. In particular, VKS support player Trymbi has showcased surprisingly strong play with mage supports including Lulu and Neeko, despite the current meta revolving around tank supports.
With Keyd Stars getting its bearings, there’s a good chance the team will give FlyQuest more of a challenge than it did in the upper bracket final. With both teams having support players who drive their squad’s forward, and FlyQuest’s Gakgos and Inspired edging out VKS’s top and jungler players, respectively, FQ looks to be an understandable favorite but could be drawn into a fifth game.
Keyd Stars has an excellent ADC in Morttheus, who could scale faster than FlyQuest’s Massu. This suggests that the middle lane will determine which team edges out the win. But VKS’s Mireu doesn’t typically do enough to carry his team, even when he has a gold advantage. Fortunately for his team, his role as a proxy support is compatible with his CC-heavy picks like Ahri, Taliyah, and Ryze.
The best way for Keyd Stars to cause a major upset here would be for the team’s jungler Disamis to display the same outplays, ganks, and objective acquisition he did against 100 Thieves, tilting the odds in his team’s favor. Those wanting to ride with Keyd Stars to get a rather high return on their investment will also want to hope that Gakgos’s lack of experience with FlyQuest allows Vivo’s Boal to create havoc in the top lane, giving the South American team a better fighting chance.

FlyQuest has dominated the LTA this split and could very well stomp its South American opponent here. However, it likely won’t be as easy as last time. Keyd Stars has gained much confidence after rolling past 100 Thieves, and FlyQuest’s Gakgos may not have fully settled into his role in the top lane after being brought in as a substitute. All of this combined suggests that Keyd Stars could at least take the match to a fifth game. Ambitious bettors may even take a swing at a Keyd Stars outright win.
