Tal “Fly” Aizik and Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte have mutually parted ways with Talon Esports shortly after finishing the first tour of DPC SEA 2021/22 season.
Talon’s foray into Dota 2 came with much fanfare among the netizens as they were elated by the news of an accomplished captain FLY-ing to Southeast Asia and assembling a star studded roster.
The hopes were high and everyone expected the squad to qualify to the upper division – considering the individual prowess and skills of the players.

According to the statement, the players and the management didn’t share the same mindset and values to navigate the ever-changing circumstances and align properly.
The parting can also be attributed to Talon’s inability to get promoted to Division I and the lack of concrete results may have factored in for the roster change.
Nonetheless, Talon Esports will be reevaluating their roster and compete in the upcoming DPC SEA Tour.
