G2 Esports and Bilibili Gaming will have their rematch in the grand final of LoL First Stand. In their groups, BLG took the series in convincing fashion, beating G2 3-0. Now, the LEC representative is fresh off of sweeping BNK FearX and Gen.G, and looks to be an entirely different beast.
Will G2 take their revenge against BLG and give the LEC their first trophy since 2019? Or will BLG extend the LPL’s undefeated record against European teams in grand final?
Odds via GG.Bet at 7 am GMT, March 22.
Betting tip: BLG is the favorite in this match, but they might not be a good bet. With their recent form, this is another G2 than the one that BLG 3-0’d in the group stage. Considering the odds, G2 might be a better bet.

This matchup carries a strong history – let’s see what it means for this game.
First, BLG have always had G2’s number. The head-to-head is a 5-0 series record for the LPL. History aside, BLG demolished G2 when they met in the group stage just earlier this week.
Second, G2 have historically performed better against Korean teams. Against the Chinese ones, they match up much worse.
Third, we’ve seen European teams dominate an international only to lose the final 3-0 to an LPL team. That happened in 2018, and again in 2019.
However, the fact that G2 already lost to BLG could perhaps end up in their favor – more on that later.
Against BNK FearX, G2 looked much stronger than in their first two matches. Against Gen.G, they were on an even higher level again.
Steven “Hans Sama” Liv and Lampros “Labrov” Papoutsakis are winning every game, Rasmus “Caps” Winther finally showed up, Rudy “SkewMond” Semaan levels up into the best jungler in the West, and Sergen “BrokenBlade” Çelik is comfortable on tank duty.
BLG’s strength is their laning and early skirmishes. The players can put so much pressure that the other team can’t find their footing anymore. However, that’s Gen.G’s plan as well. With the best players in the world, they make every other team look bad. Yet G2 completely brushed it off. In games 2 and 3, they were playing with full confidence and making fools of Gen.G.
In 2018 and 2019, Fnatic and G2 didn’t recognize their final opponents as enough of a threat. G2, however, knows their strength, and they know their game plan. The team should not be surprised in their rematch.

LoL betting odds via GG.Bet, 11pm CET March 21st, 2026
BLG demolished G2 the first time around, but this is a wholly different team now. The outcome is a toss-up, but the odds make it worth betting on G2.
