Fresh Finalmouse keyboard leaks have gamers salivating over next-level customization options.
Esports news personality @JakeSucky shared footage showcasing an upcoming keyboard from Finalmouse. It’s only an alpha prototype (aka super early), but still looks insane!
Finalmouse keyboard leaks
Looking for the god setup? This new piece of kit will allow you to add interactive skins built in Unreal Engine 5 onto your keyboard, straight from the Steam app.
There will also be a marketplace where artists can submit skins, meaning endless design possibilities. What’s more, these graphics will be shown on a “revolutionary” 2k/4k display.
Other exciting features include 8khz high-speed USB capability and built-in Stream Deck functionality.
If you’re worried that all this tech might hurt your gaming experience, don’t be. The keyboard is set to be self-powered with its own dedicated GPU/CPU.
When does it release?
Finalmouse has been teasing this launch all year. It looks like the official reveal will be on December 17, 2022.
Whether they’ll be available to purchase straight away is doubtful, but you’d imagine orders will open in time for Christmas. However, it’s safe to say we can expect the price to be pretty steep.
The Finalmouse Twitter account replied to Jake Lucky’s post to clarify that this was an extremely old video. “There’s a lot more to this and the final product is on a different league…. Far too many details that are still unknown. What you are seeing is from nearly a year ago.”
Guess we’ll have to wait and see…
