FFWS USA 2026 Summer unveiled with $35K prize pool and new Survival Stage

Garena has announced the Summer Season of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) USA with a total prize pool of $35,000 up for grabs. With more teams and a new survival stage, this will allow more teams the opportunity to take part in the tournament. In this article, let’s take a look at the upcoming competition and its schedule.

FFWS USA 2026 Summer announced, here’s what you need to know

The FFWS USA 2026 Summer will happen from May 1 to June 14. The tournament will be the next phase of the regional tournaments that will be taking place in the USA.

In the previous competition, MíA Corp claimed the spring champion title and secured their spot in the upcoming Free Fire tournament at EWC 2026. FFWS USA 2026 Summer will feature 24 teams, eight more than the spring edition of the tournament. The biggest change, though, is that a new survival stage has been added.

The registration for the open qualifiers is currently open in-game until May 3.

The first phase of the tournament will be the in-game open qualifiers. Teams from the USA will face off against each other to secure one of the 24 spots.

Following that, the survival stage of the tournament will take place between May 23 and 24. Within this phase, teams will be split into two groups of 12 teams each.

At the end of this phase, the top 18 teams will qualify for the group stage. The top six teams from the FFWS USA 2026 Spring will receive a direct spot in this phase of the competition.

The group stage of FFWS USA 2026 Summer will take place between May 29 and June 7. Teams will be split into four groups with six teams, with this phase of the competition taking place in a double round-robin format. Following two weeks of intense matches, the top 18 teams will qualify for the knockout stage.

Within the Knockout Stage, teams will be split into three groups of six, battling once again in a double round-robin format. This phase of the event will take place on June 12 and 13. The top 12 teams will qualify for the grand finals.

The FFWS USA 2026 Summer grand final will take place on June 14 with the Champions Rush format.

Adding to the stakes, the top six teams from the summer season will book a direct slot for the FFWS USA 2026 Fall. The winner from here will secure a spot at the FFWS World Finals 2026.
