Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 2 stream has been full of celebrity cameosm but nobody could have expected the arrival of Bill Nye the Science Guy.
From rappers like Snoop Dogg and GloRilla to actors like Miranda Cosgrove to dancers like The Jabbawockeez, Kai Cenat has invited a lot of celebrities to his rented mansion for Mafiathon 2. Recently, Kai Cenat even had robots take over his stream. While big names, it comes as no surprise that Twitch’s biggest streamer has these connections.
Now, a childhood hero has graced the subathon.
Earlier on November 16, Bill Nye the Science Guy arrived at the Kai Cenat’s mansion. In the 90s, Bill Nye hosted an informative TV show in an attempt to teach science concepts to young viewers. The former mechanical engineer had his show blow up and it’s now ingrained in the minds of kids born in the late 20th century.
Kai Cenat’s reaction to Bill Nye arriving on set was quite emotional, with the two celebrities screaming at each other in excitement. They then hugged, with Bill Nye holding a box full of mysterious items. Fans reacted with equal emotion, with many thanking Kai Cenat for bringing back childhood memories and others admitting Bill Nye was the only reason they passed science class.
Bill Nye started his portion of the subathon by addressing viewers with a passionate speech. He explained that science is how people understand nature and the cosmos.
“That’s why we say science rules. Science isn’t for people that study it full time. It’s for everybody. We want everyone to have an understanding of our place in the cosmos so we can work together and, dare I say it, change the world,” Bill Nye said.
This may be one of the most emotional portions of the subathon yet. It even had some fans calling for Kai Cenat to win not just streamer of the year but a Nobel Peace Prize. For now, Kai Cenat is just focused on breaking his most recent subathon record, which had him reach over 400,000. He currently has the world record and may even reach vtuber Ironmouse’s prediction of reaching 1 million subs.
