At the peak of North American Counter-Strike, there were several top teams that were arguably the number one.
One of those teams was Renegades who finished 3rd at the Starladder Berlin Major and ahead of all other NA teams.
The core of that roster bounced around before landing at Extremum, where they’ve been for the past eight months. Going into IEM Fall, Extremum was in first place and regarded as a top contender for legend status.
In the end, the team didn’t even qualify for PGL Stockholm after losing in the finals 1-2 against Evil Geniuses.
Following the disappointing results, the organization announced that the entire team was benched effective immediately.

While the players have not announced anything, it is assumed they will be looking for new teams in the roster mania that will occur following PGL Stockholm.
