Aliciaxlife is a vtuber who is currently battling cancer and has had to deal with her medical situation becoming a matter of public discourse. This apparently happened after a streamer by the name of Katliente posted a video about Aliciaxlife. The video’s title focused mainly on the vtuber having cancer. The content creator received much backlash from the community and eventually chose to take down the video.

This incident occurred in 2024, but the resulting drama was revived again in 2025. Katlente wrote an X post to explain her side of the story but received backlash yet again from Aliciaxlife and community members. As the situation progressed, things got intense when Katliente doxxed Aliciaxlife’s full name publicly.

Alicia accuses Katliente of wanting to profit from vtuber’s illness

The reason for the ongoing drama and beef between Aliciaxlife and Katliente is a video the latter made about the vtuber that emphasized her illness, and Aliciaxlife believing it amounted to an effort to profit from her ongoing health problems.

In November 2024, Katliente made a video about Aliciaxlife getting hacked. That sounds relatively innocent on its own, but the streamer titled the video “vtuber with cancer got hacked.” This led to Aliciaxlife calling out Katliente for “click-baiting cancer.” She alleged that ethics were thrown out in favor of potential ad revenue. Katliente tried to do damage control by changing the title of the video, but ultimately chose to delete it altogether. The drama had seemingly died, but Katliente restarted it with a tweet.

In May 2025, Katliente tweeted about the situation and blamed others for posting the video without her knowledge. The content creator claimed her editor didn’t have permission to post the video but uploaded it while she was sleeping. Katliente went on to say that she should have immediately deleted the video so that the editor wouldn’t have the chance to post it to begin with. She also alleged it was her editor who renamed the video, and not her. She claimed they changed “cancer” to “remission” because English wasn’t their first language.

Katliente stated that she took down the video and apologized to Aliciaxlife as soon as she realized something was wrong. The streamer alleged that she even paid the vtuber for any potential damages that may have occurred while the video was live. Regardless of the streamer’s explanation, she still received hate from the community and Aliciaxlife called her a hypocrite. The vtuber reminded Katliente that she was bashing Dokibrid for blaming others like her and not taking responsibility, and that she’s doing the same now.

The vtuber went on to say that her middle name was always private until Katliente posted a Google Doc featuring the information. The virtual YouTuber stated that Katliente censored everyone’s names but hers. She said she didn’t know why the streamer did this, but that the tweet was live for one full day. Aliciaxlife stated that people had since been sending her full name to her via DMs, leaving her feeling uncomfortable.
