Evil Geniuses has announced the decision to remove the entire coaching staff from its CS:GO division. Damian “MaLeK” and his assistants joined the North American organization earlier this year.

The news follows a string of disappointing results for the team, as they failed to qualify for the Major, IEM Dallas, BLAST Spring Finals, and only won a single map at the ESL Pro League Season 15.

EG will be transfer listing MaLeK and has released Paolo “EVY” Berbudeau and analyst Juan “Hepa” Borges from their contracts.

According to Dust2.us, EG did not inform the latter two of the decision before the announcement.

MaLeK joined the roster earlier this year from G2 as the team underwent a rebuild. While the disappointing results must have been a factor in his dismissal, he was also implicated in the coaching bug investigation.
