Following their elimination from the American BLAST Premier Showdown, Evil Geniuses’ CEO, Nicole LaPointe Jameson, has hinted at potentially making roster changes.
Following the disappointing loss to Godsent in the opening round of the Showdown, Jameson took to Twitter, stating that they “are not complacent with these results and are committed to making changes to improve.”
Disappointing finish in CS:GO today – I’m sorry to all the fans…we are not complacent with these results and are committed to making changes to improve!
Thanks for your continued support. 💙

Her message came after a string of disappointing results for the Jake “stewie2K” Yip-led squad. Being formed in January and fielding a core that gave North America its only Major, they have struggled to give glimpses of hope for improvement.
From only winning a single map in the ESL Pro League, to failing to qualify for the Major, IEM Dallas, and now the BLAST Fall Finals.
The lack of results and seemingly improvement has made many fans frustrated, a sentiment voiced by former CS:GO pro Ryan “freakazoid” Abadir. While streaming, he said that he wanted the players to “Show some energy, show some passion, show something,” before going on to add “it seems like they are half in, half out, mentally. Just fucking commit.”
Whether Jameson alluded to making changes within the current setup, or potentially replacing one or more players, is not clear yet.
