Chapter 3 Season 3 is coming to an end, which means that the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 release date is the next big goal.

Rumors and leaks are already surfacing about what we can expect for Chapter 3 Season 4.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 Release Date

The release date usually is not 100% known until Epic announces it. The announcement usually takes place a few days before the start of the new season.

However, based on the Battle Pass end date of September 17, it’s pretty safe to assume that the release date will be released on September 18th. This date isn’t concrete, so as we get nearer to the end of Chapter 3 Season 3 new information might come out.

Chapter 3 Season 4 Predicted Theme

The theme for Chapter 3 Season 4 is up for a heated debate. It seems as if half of Twitter believes the theme will be based around Marvel, while the other half believes it will be based on older seasons.

Evidence for both of these themes has been leaked and it seems likely we might get a season filled with Marvel collaborations and throwback items. This would fit the theme of Chapter 3 Season 3 of a map filled with items and locations that are out of place.

In the next Fortnite x Marvel comics, we can see that the Hulkbuster appears throughout the story. Epic has also been working on a new Mech that shoots, sprints, and blocks. This can’t be a coincidence and might mean we have the Hulkbuster coming to Fortnite.

For the throwback believers, their theory is based on Fortnite’s 5th Anniversary.

Recently, Epic announced that they will be releasing Late Game Arena on August 30th with the 21.50 update. We all know Epic likes to tease the new seasons far in advance.

Could this release of an old and loved game mode be proof that the next season is based on older seasons?

It was also leaked in another tweet that the Legendary Pump Shotgun would be returning to Fortnite. It is still unknown if the Pump will be returning or if only for Late Game Arena. Either way, the community is extremely excited.

Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass Theme

If the season is going to be primarily Marvel-themed, then we can expect to see some skins that correlate with the Fortnite x Marvel comics and other collaborations.

The throwback theme might mean we get some older skin concepts that are more modernized. Maybe like a return of the Skull Trooper, the Renegade Raider, or the Aerial Assault Trooper.

However, I believe that the Battle Pass will be a combination of both Marvel collaborations and throwback skin concepts. This will surely make for an exciting season!

Chapter 3 Season 4 is about to be one of the most hyped seasons in a long time. We can only speculate what will happen to Fortnite and how the changes will bring new items and new locations.

I’m really hoping for a throwback season. I would love to see the Pump Shotguns and Scars returning. Most importantly, I need Epic to bring back my home, Dirty Docks. What would you like to see returning in Chapter 3 Season 4?
