The largest esports organizations in 2026

These organizations captivated the fans and helped build the modern-day esports empire. Our list is based on two impactful factors: legacy and awards.
G2 Esports

Esports has developed into a massive industry over the last decade, and many teams and players have become immortalized via their impactful performances. One of the key stakeholders of the esports industry are esports organizations. They offer structure and stability to players through salaries and support them to perform at the best of their capabilities.

These esports organizations, operating across multiple games, build fanbases they extend beyond a single star performer or one game, therefore, being a key partner for publishers as well. This is because if one of these big organizations sign a team in a particular game, they bring a lot of eyeballs along with them.

Here are the biggest esports organizations who have already made it to the hall of fame in competitive gaming. These organizations have been selected based on their legacy, performance, and fanbases.

Largest esports organizations in 2026

G2 Esports (Germany)

The Berlin-based esports giants carry quite a reputation in Europe. The org made a name for itself in League of Legends after beating the giants Team Liquid in MSI 2019.

Another accolade for G2 is that they recorded the fastest 5v5 victory in a Riot tournament. The same year, the org almost completed the ‘golden road’ and three of the four majors titles.

Furthermore, their current CS2 squad has one of the most decorated athletes, Hunter, who has eight S-tier titles to his name. The organization has more than 175 million watch hours in 2024.

Talking about social numbers, G2 have more than a million fans on Instagram who scream their hearts out for them in multiple titles.

Fnatic (United Kingdom)

If you have been following esports since the early 2000s, Fnatic is probably on your nostalgia list. It is not only one of the largest esports organizations but also the oldest, having been launched in 2004.

The org is a legacy one and therefore has a multi-generational fanbase. Most notably, the British organization has a cult following in League of Legends. One of its biggest moments was that it won LoL Worlds 2011, the first edition of tournament which has become a yearly affair since then.

Another notable moment for the organization was its runners-up finish at Worlds 2018, which featured a star-studded lineup of Rasmus “Caps” Winther, Martin “Rekkles” Larsson, Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau, Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen, and Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov.

Fnatic was the creators of the iconic ‘Pulling an xPeke’ trend, where players eliminated enemies by sneaking into their base. The organization has bagged every major trophy in CS:GO between 2013 and 2015.

Fnatic has more than 1 million Instagram followers. Even so, Fnatic is exploring a potential sale despite being valued at $260 million just a few years ago. However, the teams and top players should remain in place, depending on how the potential ownership change is structured.

OG Esports (Europe)

If you are a Dota 2 fan, it’s impossible that you haven’t rooted for this org at least once. They were the first and only team to win the Dota 2 World Championship in a row in 2018 and 2019.

OG resonates with every gamer who believes that even underdogs can punch hard at the biggest stages. In a true fairy-tale run, the last-minute assembled Dota 2 roster, consisting of an amateur (Topson), a former coach (Ceb) and a returnee (Ana), along with Liu, went on to win the championship after starting as a qualification team.

Valve’s True Sight documentaries covering the 2018 and 2019 Dota 2 International finals played a major role in building OG’s global fanbase, offering a behind-the-scenes look into the team’s communication, mentality, and journey.

The has organization made $38 million from 207 tournaments to date. It also has a strong fan base of 350,000 on Instagram. It’s not the numbers but the sheer passion amongst its fans that got it here on the list.

With OG’s recent return to its roots with a classic green rebrand, fans are hoping their 2026 season will be another turnaround run.

Nova Esports (China)

If any esports organization has absolutely dominated the mobile gaming circuit across multiple titles, then it’s Nova.

Nova created the mobile esports stars we know today. This organization has built MVPs across top mobile games: Paraboy and Sukk, the global PUBG Mobile MVPs; Long, the first-ever League of Legends Wild Rift MVP, are among the talents developed by Nova.

The org has a cult following from the pre-pandemic era. With seven world championships across 4 titles: PUBG, CoC, Brawl Stars and Wild Rift, Nova’s legacy still shines brighter than any other mobile org on the planet. They also have a huge global following of over 22 million across social media.

S8UL (India)

S8UL are one of the pioneers of esports development in India and put the country on the global map. This organization was formed by a merger of two separate entities, Soul and 8-bit, in 2019. The org has given innumerable proud occasions to its young fans. Their historic ‘double’ at the Esports Awards 2025 in Las Vegas is a testimony to how far the industry has evolved in the country.

S8UL is known for its diversified content creators’ team that engages with a wide range of fans in the country, whether it’s core esports or lifestyle content.

On the competitive front, the organization has forged a cult following in various mobile games like BGMI, COD, and Pokemon Unite. However, international accolades are rare despite the loyal following. They have a following of 340k on Instagram.

Natus Vincere (NAVI – Ukraine)

NAVI are not just one of the largest esports organizations, but an emotion for millions of Counter-Strike fans. The org completed the trifecta of major trophies in 2010, within just a year of its launch. NAVI also created one of the biggest and greatest Counter-Strike superstar S1mple. The two-time world champion and top-ranked HLTV star earned millions of loyal fans for the organization.

NAVI’s PGL Stockholm 2021 run is one for the history books, where the org won the world championship flawlessly without losing a single map. Navi still enjoys more than 1.7 million viewers on peak days, along with a million followers on Instagram.

T1 (South Korea)

Uniting a country through esports is indeed possible. And T1 from South Korea are a reigning example of that. T1 are the cult heroes of League of Legends.

The org created the game’s most iconic showman: Faker, the six-time world champion and an Asian Games gold medalist. The mid laner helped elevate the legacy of T1 with back-to-back world titles between 2013 and 2016.

T1 completed another three-peat between 2023 and 2025, earning a new generation of fans who titled Faker as the ‘Unkillable Demon King’.

The org received more than 228 million watch hours in 2025 alone. They also have two million followers cheering on Instagram. With Faker signed till 2029, their legacy and popularity are likely to be passed on to the next generation of League of Legends audience.

Team Liquid (Netherlands)

The Liquid is not only among the largest esports organizations but also the oldest, having been established in 2000. Initially, a StarCraft clan, the Dutch org now has not only competed but dominated both PC and mobile esports over the years.

They have a multi-generational fandom due to their unmatched legacy in titles like DOTA 2 and CS:GO. Liquid never depended on specific star players, as the org in itself was a symbol of royalty, especially after their Dota 2 World Championship victory in 2017. Team Liquid is the most successful Dota 2 org and the highest earners of all orgs in the list.

According to Esports Earnings, Team Liquid has earned more than $56 million in prize money across nearly 3,000 tournaments in multiple games (including Dota 2, CS:GO/CS2, LoL, StarCraft, VALORANT, and more). They also received the award of ‘Esports Organization of the Decade’ in 2025.

Furthermore, Team Liquid are one of the only Western esports organizations to amass a following in the global East, namely through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). It entered the game by acquiring ECHO and won the MPL PH in its first season. The organization also won the MSC 2025.

Honorable mentions 

Besides these, some of the top esports organizations have built a legacy of their own in some of the newest titles. For example, TSM has left an unrivaled mark in Apex Legends with the most ALGS titles. Similarly, BDS elevated Rocket League and FaZe Clan is the biggest Fortnite brand by far in terms of cultural impact, creators, LAN wins, and mainstream reach.
