Fans can download Elite Exorcist Miko through Steam on its early access release date of December 26, 2024.
Importantly, indie game developer tian nya will be releasing an early access version of Elite Exorcist Miko. The studio’s reasoning is that the game will likely not be completed until 2026, and they want to give the community the chance to play it sooner. The early access version of Elite Exorcist Miko contains three stage tiers with six stages and 19 “full-fledged boss battles.” When the final version releases, nya intends it to have five stage tiers, bonus stages, and a final boss battle.
Any interested players can currently download a demo on PC, though the developers haven’t specified what exactly is included. Regardless, the Elite Exorcist Miko demo is a good option for those who want to try the game prior to the release date on December 26.
Although coming out a little late for Christmas, Elite Exorcist Miko could be a great way to round out the holidays. What better way to celebrate than by surviving bullet hell with one’s favorite vtuber?
Sakura Miko is the hero in her own bullet hell game tasked with saving her fellow Hololive members or dying trying.
In Elite Exorcist Miko, evil spirits have possessed different Hololive members. The only way to save them is by playing as Sakura Miko and defeating them in combat. Only then will the vtubers return to their senses. Each run will feature different Hololive members, bosses, and more because no two runs will be the same. The gameplay and premise seem clearly inspired by the Touhou series, which is itself famous for its fan creations.
The Steam page for the game describes the game as a bullet hell shoot ’em up. Traditionally in bullet hells, players can expect to have massive volleys of ammo launched at them. Their main recourse is dodging and getting hits off when possible. In Elite Exorcist Miko, Sakura Miko has her own set of fighting styles as well as melee and shooting options. She can also draw powers from rescued friends and defeated foes, as well as craft equipment using materials from previous runs.
Sakura Miko is one of the original generation 0 Hololive members, alongside Hoshimachi Suisei and Roboco-san. As a worshiper of the Virtual Sakura Shrine, she strives to be an “elite” shrine maiden and gamer. Fans enjoy watching her stream several genres of video games, from role-playing to graphic to even erotic. Now, she gets to join the world she spends so much time playing in.
Elite Exorcist Miko has fans excited, but Marvel Rivals players are eagerly seeking confirmation on its stat tracker feature.
