Evil Geniuses could be losing two of its star players, according to a report by Dust2.us. Both Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov see their contracts with the organization run out in September of this year and are yet to put ink on paper for new deals, according to the report.

cerq and Brehze are the only remaining parts of the NRG roster that were acquired in 2019 by EG.

Both players have struggled with their individual form in recent history, with the roster undergoing a massive rebuild following a disappointing run in 2021.

The addition of the 2018 Boston Major winning core, William “RUSH” Wierzba, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip, and Tim “autimatic” Ta, didn’t yield the expected results, leading to the organization expanding its CSGO division to 15 players.

Brehze and cerq have been playing together since the summer of 2017 when cerq joined the NRG team from Outlaws. They won ESL One New York 2019 and Starseries & I-League Season 8 under the Evil Geniuses banner.
