DreamLeague Division 2 Season 4 has is almost over and we’re all set for a thrilling conclusion to the one of the best Tier 2 events we’ve seen in months. After a hard-fought two weeks of competition, the 24-team competition has been whittled down to just two: Nigma Galaxy and South America Rejects.
Nigma Galaxy certainly have a chip on their shoulder, having struggled to achieve much of anything this past year. But the team are poised for victory in this one, having not lost a single match the entire tournament.
But against them are a dangerous South America Rejects team. SAR have been in the trenches this past month, proving that paiN Gaming never should have let this squad go. After a great finish to PGL Wallachia Season 8, they’re poised for greatness once more. Here’s the lowdown on the upcoming matchup.
Here are the current win/loss odds for DreamLeague Division 2 Season 4:
As mentioned, DreamLeague Division 2 Season 4 has been an incredible event showcasing just how good the Tier 2 of Dota 2 is. But two teams have really set themselves apart from the others and it’s no surprise they’re meeting in the finals.Nigma Galaxy has literally been perfect this past event. The team hasn’t dropped a game in the Group Stage or the Playoffs and are looking like the team to beat in the Grand Finals. This is finally a meta and a level of competition that favors the team. And even with Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn missing a portion of the playoffs due to the birth of his child, the veteran team, backed by youthful superstar Denys “rincyq” Bohushev, have looked flawless.
But SAR aren’t going to let them take this without a fight. The team proved many of the doubters wrong at PGL Wallachia Season 8 and with the likes of Máximo “Wits” Orozco Alza and veteran support Elvis “Scofield” Peña at the helm, the team have looked incredible. Going 7-1 in the group stage, they fell to 1w Team in the Upper Bracket. But after a classic lower-bracket run, they’re back, having beaten 1w Team 2-0 to earn this spot. But how do we think this one will shape out?

Nigma Galaxy and this lineup have actually met each other before very recently, back in March at ESL One Birmingham. That matchup ended up resulting in a 1-1, so not very decisive. Since then though, both teams have improved dramatically, with Nigma Galaxy even making it t the finals of Premier Series earlier this month.
With their new consistent form, and their performance this past event, we’re going to pick Nigma Galaxy to go 3-1 in this matchup. But that’s just part of the story. Here’s our picks and markets for the event.
