Dragon Ranger Gaming are the Champions of VCT Ascension CN 2025

The conclusion of VALORANT Champions 2025 was the start of the off-season of VALORANT Esports. The first tournament in each of the four regional VCT Leagues was the VCT Ascension—the winners of the VALORANT Challengers leagues from the four regions faced off in their regional Ascension tournament. Recently, the VCT Ascension CN 2025 concluded with Dragon Ranger Gaming becoming the champions of the tournament. With this win, Dragon Ranger Gaming secures its spot in VCT CN in the 2026 season. Dragon Ranger Gaming Return to VCT CN in 2026

Going into VCT Ascension CN 2025, the stakes for Dragon Ranger Gaming were as high as they could be. During the VCT 2025 season, they secured their spot in VALORANT Champions 2025. To secure their spot in VCT CN for the 2026 season, the team needed to qualify for the playoffs stage. Sadly, they lost to T1 and G2 Esports, resulting in their relegation to VCT Ascension CN 2025.

Defeating Thunder Gaming and Zhu Chao Gaming with a scoreline of 2-0. Shockingly, in the first match of the playoffs phase, Dragon Ranger Gaming lost against Any Questions Gaming. This was quite an upset, resulting in the team falling in the lower bracket.

In the lower bracket finals, Dragon Ranger Gaming got their revenge against Any Questions Gaming. They defeated them with a scoreline of 3-2, securing their spot in the grand finals. In the grand finals, they faced off against Rare Atom. Since 2023, Rare Atom has finished 2nd in back-to-back VCT Ascension tournaments.

During the grand finals, Dragon Ranger Gaming provided one of their best performances during the tournament. They defeated Rare Atom with a scoreline of 3-0. During the third map, DRG  won with a score of 13-1. This was sheer dominance on display, with Rare Atom finishing 2nd during a VCT Ascension CN tournament. With this win, DRG secures its spot in the VCT CN 2026 season.
