Vtuber Dokibird has debuted a new summer model, and fans are rushing to praise the lifeguard outfit’s fresh and classy look.
Dokibird is an independent English-language vtuber who originally debuted in 2020 but retired in 2021. She apparently couldn’t long stay away from the vtuber world however, and she returned in 2024 to stream her content again. The vtuber primarily uses YouTube and has amassed over 845,000 followers on the platform.
Dokibrid was recently in the news when she was accused of stealing money from a charity stream. The vtuber denied the allegations, and the matter has seemingly since been forgotten by most of her fans.
On June 15, Dokibird announced that she would debut a new summer model during a beach episode.
On June 20, Dokibird debuted her lifeguard model on a summer day at a beach during a livestream.
Dokibird started the stream with a surreal beach animation that fans couldn’t get enough of. Many viewers requested the vtuber release more similar beach animations in the future. She then moved on to showing off fan predictions and commented on them. The fan art and predictions ranged from Doki dressed in summer gear wear holding water guns to the vtuber wearing a snorkel mask ready to jump into the ocean.
Fans had to wait a bit for the real show, and Dokibird eventually displayed her new summer model in its full glory. The vtuber was dressed in golden yellow shorts and an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt, and a white t-shirt underneath. She also held a water gun, and showcased that the Hawaiian shirt is removable and that the vtuber can use just the t-shirt as well. Her thermal t-shirt can turn into a black version if the weather gets too hot.
The vtuber finally changed the camera’s view to show her face to viewers. As soon as her golden locks of hair were visible, Dokibird put on a snorkel mask just as some of her fans had predicted with their art prior to the new outfit’s debut, which complemented her summer look. She then highlighted that the Hawaiian shirt also has a toggle to change colors, just like her t-shirt. The originally green Hawaiian shirt could be turned into either pink or light blue versions, depending on her mood and preference.
Most of the fans watching the stream expressed their delight at the vtuber’s new model being so customizable and looking like such a strong summer fit.
