Disguised will face LYON in the LCS Spring Split week 4. On Wednesday, LYON already beat DSG 2-0 to eliminate them from the Esports World Cup Qualifier. Can they repeat the process on stage, or will Disguised get their revenge?
Betting tip: LYON is head and shoulders above DSG. While the LCS format with one match a week per team makes it harder to predict, LYON remains the clear favorite in this series.
My Disguised vs LYON pick: Under 2.5 maps at 1.5 odds at GG.BET.

In week 3, Disguised had a catastrophic series against Cloud9. First, their bot lane loses a winning match-up, while DSG’s attention to the mid lane gives Oh “CallMe” Ji-hoon a lead that doesn’t convert into anything. Second, they make grave macro mistakes in the early game that cost them the entire series.
The errors they made against C9 won’t fly against LYON either. The Winter champions have a very solid bot lane, even more than Cloud9, and their macro is their greatest strength.
Kacper “Inspired” Słoma is the best jungler in the league and his pathing is one of his strong points. Inspired always slightly mixes up his order to be unpredictable while remaining efficient. Thanks to that, he tends to show up to lanes a bit earlier than the opponents would expect, resulting in successful fights.
Inspired is also the shotcaller of the team, and LYON will commit only to objective fights that they should win. Otherwise, they evaluate the risk and choose to play elsewhere on the map.
The decisions that DSG took against C9 show that they lack that judgement. If they attempt to pick fights haphazardly against LYON, this won’t end well for them either.
Disguised’s one point of attack is the solo lanes. Last week, they attacked the mid lane. As it turns out, LYON’s top laner is inconsistent and their mid laner is the current weak link.
In this match-up, they will try to pressure those points. However, that plan relies on coordinating with the jungler, and Inspired will not make that easy.

In the LCS, teams only play one series a week, and they’ve only played three so far. Even though all rosters have remained the same for this split, that still means there is uncertainty in the shots. That being said, LYON isn’t the kind of team to lose to opponents below them, and they should take this win.
