Quintin “Quin” Crawford’s latest stunt involves a new vtuber model, and a clip of it glitching out took the streaming world by storm.
Quin is a New Zealand streamer who has close to 900,000 followers on Twitch. While Quin does other content like comedic bits on his channels, he gained popularity with his Diablo gaming streams. Recently the streamer stopped playing World of Warcraft because he claimed the MMO game was too easy. Instead, on December 8, 2024, Quin started to play Path of Exile 2 on the launch day and he’ll likely be sticking to the game. He has been making constant streams while playing the game, and fans love it.
In addition, Quin debuted a vtuber avatar while playing. A clip of an apparent model glitch went viral, revealing the person behind the camera.
The streamer Quin is entertaining his audience in his usual comedic fashion by taking on the role of a female vtuber while playing Path of Exile.
Quin replaced his traditional streamer setup with a motion-capture vtuber setup and a voice changer to cosplay as a vtuber. Midstream his model glitched, most like at the streamer’s command, and fans saw who was really behind their new favorite oshi.
Regardless of the reason, fans were surprised when the vtuber disappeared, and in its place was a bald and shirtless man. Quin claimed that his vtuber model was glitching and he expressed his surprise when fans could see him.
Quin is known for his comedic bits in streams and the streamer became a vtuber as a joke. Yet, the model issue caused the discussion to take a more serious turn. While his fans knew Quin was cosplaying as a female vtuber some surprised viewers thought a random streamer was behind the female vtuber model. They started to debate whether more men could be catfishing as female vtubers.
Many viewers discussed how fans don’t always know the identity of the real person behind the vtuber. On the other hand, some believe that Quin deliberately turned off his vtuber model. They claim the streamer did this in an attempt to go viral. It is unknown whether the model glitched or it was disabled on purpose by the streamer.
