Did Ice Poseidon hire people to ruin TwitchCon?

TwitchCon San Diego was disrupted when Kick streamers started to violently disrupt the event and many speculated that it was a stunt by controversial streamer Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino.

Kick streamers decided to livestream their questionable behavior after getting into TwitchCon, including licking some male streamers in what many have now called “sexual harassment” and attempting to have a physical altercation with another. At this point, a lot of fingers starting pointing at Ice Posiedon as the mastermind behind the Kick streamers infiltrating TwitchCon and behaving inappropriately once inside.

Is there any credibility to these rumors?

Ice Poseidon responds to Kick drama at TwitchCon

At least one Twitch streamer has accused Ice Poseidon of paying people to crash TwitchCon.

A Twitch streamer called JuliaKins is being accused of starting the rumor after she claimed that an unnamed “Kick degenerate” had paid fellow Kick streamers to annoy TwitchCon attendees and content creators. Some felt this could have been Ice Poseidon, but the streamer fought back against the accusations.

From inside his Lamborghini, Ice Poseidon tweeted that there was a miscommunication.

“Dear [LiveStreamFail] community, I did not pay anyone to harass Twitch streamers. I paid 50 subs to troll Sam Bond because he’s annoying and for someone to recommend Moises to OTK as a waterboy. If you’re gonna slander me, at least make it funny. Now don’t mind me, time to take the Lambo for a ride,” said Ice Poseidon

xQc reacts to Kick streamers at TwitchCon

While Ice Poseidon didn’t want to be bothered with the TwitchCon issue, other big streamers including Felix “xQc” Lengyel had a lot to say about the incidents that took place.

TwitchCon has come to an end, but clips of the harassment have lived on. xQc was at the event himself and, while he wasn’t bombarded with Kick streamer tomfoolery, he still found the behavior wrong.

“We need actual, sizable repercussions,” he said. “A ban will never make something click. If you’re at a point where you to go IRL events and you suck on people live on air… A ban isn’t going to fix that gap in mental or restraint. You need real repercussions.”

What would these repercussions be? xQc said he wanted police to be called on the Kick streamers. He noted that the incident where a Kick streamer shoved a content creator into a moving train was an “actual f—ing crime” and police should have been involved.
