The vtuber Hades of Mythos claims that, while she doesn’t have proof, she suspects her drink was spiked at Twitchcon.
Hades is relatively new to the vtuber scene. but she has amassed a decent amount of followers since her debut in 2023. Her “lost souls” watch her streams on YouTube and Twitch for her unique content. However, the vtuber shared some news on X that shocked and worried her fans about her safety. The vtuber Hades claims someone might have tampered with her drink at TwitchCon. Now, fans want to know whether Hades is safe and if her drink was really tampered with.
Since this isn’t the first time something like this might have happened, many are questioning the safety of TwitchCon and similar events.
There is no concrete evidence that Hades’ drink was spiked at TwitchCon. However, the vtuber claims she felt ill and drunk after just 2 or 3 drinks even after leaving the bar.
On September 21, 2024, the vtuber Hades tweeted on X claiming that she thinks she was drugged at the bar at TwitchCon. The streamer didn’t give any details in her original tweet. However, she posted an update to explain the situation to her fans.
Hades claimed that she didn’t know what happened to her and that she was unable to go to a hospital since she didn’t have insurance. However, the vtuber states that she has suspicions that her drink was spiked due to how she felt after drinking. The streamer claims that the drink made her sick and she got drunk after consuming just a little alcohol. In addition, the vtuber statess that she was feeling the negative symptoms even three or four hours after she left the TwitchCon bar.
It is important to note that since Hades didn’t go to the hospital, she wasn’t tested for any drugs in her system. Due to this, it is impossible to verify whether Hades’ drink was tampered with at TwitchCon.
However, this isn’t the first instance of an incident like this being reported at TwitchCon. In 2019, two streamers claimed that their drinks were spiked outside TwitchCon. One of the streamers, KTLODO, shared on X that she was tested and there was a tranquilizer in her system.
KTLODO further shared on X that the combination of alcohol and the tranquilizer stopped her breathing for some time. The past incidents and now Hades’ alleged claim call for more serious measures to be taken at TwitchCon for everyone’s safety.
