Danil “Dendi” Ishutin is one of the best Dota 2 players in the world, the primary subject of the popular Free to Play documentary, and winner of the inaugural edition of The International. As a result, you might think he’d also be one of the wealthiest Dota 2 players.
Well, you’d be right! And although no official figures exist, we’ve compiled information from around the web to work out Dendi’s net worth.
Dendi is one of the most storied and successful players in Dota 2 history, a champion in both the original Defense of the Ancients and Dota 2, and a TI-winner. According to Esports Earnings, he’s accumulated $828,082.53 from 131 tournaments since 2008.
In 2011, his salary from Ukrainian esports organization NAVI was reportedly around $360,000, however, it’s likely that would have represented a peak in his salary rather than the average. In previous or subsequent years it could have been far lower.
Beyond this, Dendi lives in Lviv, Ukraine. It’s unknown if the player owns his own property. While property values in Ukraine are hard to estimate, assuming Dendi does own his home, and paid for it with his esports earnings, that could affect his net worth.

Additionally, Dendi is the founder and CEO of B8 Esports. That organization, which competes in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 could represent another portion of his net worth. While public valuations are not available, we’d expect the organization to be worth several hundred thousand, or even a few million dollars, due to its access to the CS2 and Dota 2 scenes, and multiple high-profile sponsors.
Finally, Dendi has personally been sponsored by many brands in the past, including Stake, Kick, SteelSeries and others. However, Dendi also noted he never saw any sponsor money from NAVI in a post on the team’s blog. This, combined with any other income and assets gives us a better understanding of Dendi’s potential earnings and net worth overall.
Combining all these elements, we’d estimate Dendi’s net worth at approximately $1.5 to $2.5 million. Remember, net worth is a figure that takes the value of all your assets. This is, of course, not a definitive figure, and as Dendi’s finances are not public, only speculation.
Still, for a professional gamer, Dendi has acquired a significant amount of wealth, and continues to maintain a healthy competitive career.
The best way to describe Dendi’s career at the moment is ‘semi-retired.’ While not attending major Dota 2 tournaments anymore, he competed in showmatches as recently as 2025. His last competitive appearance was in 2024 as he attempted to qualify for TI13 with B8.
Meanwhile, Dendi is a very active streamer and influencer, streaming Dota 2 to an audience of several thousand. This is combined with social media content and YouTube videos to keep Dendi one of the best Dota 2 streamers in the world.
