Delay in OG series possibly caused by IEM Rio stickers

The series between OG Esports and Grayhound Gaming in the opening round of the IEM Rio CSGO Major suffered from a significant delay due to technical issues. The cause now seems to be a signature sticker.

At a 4-1 score in favor of OG, AWPer Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov’s PC crashed. Admins changed his PC, screen, config, and several parts, but to no avail.

According to a tweet by caster Harry “JustHarry” Russell, the cause of the crashes seems to be an in-game sticker.

degster’s PC crashed every time he inspected an AWP | Graphite with INS stickers. The signature sticker of the Australian player was recently among the stickers patched to improve readability.

After a long delay, OG was eventually able to win the series 16-5.
